Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ “Don’t You Fake It” certified Platinum

NEW YORK – June, 2016 – Don’t You Fake It, the debut album by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has officially been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for U.S. sales exceeding one million copies.

The album, which features hit songs like “Face Down” and “Your Guardian Angel,” was certified Gold just 4 months after its release on July 18, 2006.

It’s estimated to have passed the Platinum threshold after about two years, and for the ten year anniversary of its release, was officially certified, with awards handed out onstage at a concert in New York on June 16, 2016, where the band played the album in its entirety.

DYFITo celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the album, the band is on the road this Summer playing Don’t You Fake It in it’s entirety for the first time.
