NAMM (the National Association of Music Merchants) is one of the largest music product trade shows in the world, founded in 1901. A trade-only business show catering to domestic and international dealers and distributors, it is a not-for-profit association that promotes the pleasures and benefits of making music and strengthens the $17 billion global music products industry. The association serves as a hub for people wanting to seek out the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, sound and lighting. Only employees of the exhibiting manufacturers and/or NAMM member retailers and distributors are allowed to attend, along with credentialed members of the press. The show is held every January in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center.
